The Story

One year on the road, 4.5 months in the Kingdom.

HikinThai wasn’t born in an office; it was born on the dusty roads and humid trails of Southeast Asia. During a one-year journey across the globe, I made Thailand my home base for 4.5 months. Between trips to Japan, Vietnam, or Indonesia, I always came back to the Kingdom, taking my time to explore every corner of its landscapes.

Why I do this: Adventure without the guesswork.

Hiking has always been a passion of mine—it’s the ultimate way to find those hidden views that buses and tours simply can’t reach. But I quickly hit a wall: I was tired of vague blog posts saying “turn left at the big tree” or “follow the sound of the waterfall.” In the density of the Thai jungle, that’s exactly how you get lost.

I wanted the freedom to grab my scooter, ride to a remote trailhead, and start hiking without always needing a guided tour. I wanted independence.

The Mission: Pinpoint Accuracy.

Because I couldn’t find the reliable data I needed, I decided to create it. Every trail listed here is a path I have walked myself.

• Precision first: I record every step to provide hikers with verified GPX tracks. No more guessing where the trail starts or ends.
• Logistics included: I know that a good hike starts with knowing where to park your scooter and ends with a solid place to sleep.
• True exploration: My goal is to give you the tools to experience the same “adventure feel” I had, but with the safety of a reliable digital map.
